About
Through the art, I hope to expand the collective awareness of our interconnectedness with each other, our planet and all beings. Adjusting our perspectives of ideas and the space around us is valuable to our evolution. In doing so, I humbly share my art with you.
As you explore my work, you will notice my artist’s evolution, which began as a child, born in what was then Saigon, Vietnam, at the My Thuat Art House. My journey continued when my family moved to the United States when I was a teen, and persisted all through college and up to this very day. I have always been creating.
Like all practitioners of a craft, I continuously push myself to expand my skills and search out new ways to express ideas and all the feelings one can experience from the simple act of gazing at a picture. My work includes classically realistic portraits of people and pets, and emotionally dynamic abstract paintings, rendered in watercolor or oil.

I am drawn to moments and subjects depicting progress, struggle, and ultimately of the inward growth. Each work represents various parts of me, my memories and glimpses of a journey to find meaning, or are simply aesthetic meditations. Whether the piece of art reminds you of something you can’t quite put your finger on, or lives in a specific place and time, it is my goal to land you in a beautiful place or inside our shared humanity.
Warmly,
L.A. Pham
